i got it..awesome.....now if i can just get my system to stop locking up i could enjoy it more...

 

i thought it wasn't out till later in the month where have you lo got if from how much is it? i played the mutiplayer demo which is quite hard core, but want the single player one. need this and AVP2. Santa should bring them for me, he just needs to hurry up the little fat man

 

RTCW was released on the 30th. I paid £34.99 from EB, but I suspect that plenty of online places have it for less than that.

Some people have complained about it being a short (around 5 hours or so). I haven't found that myself, but I put it down to becoming hopelessly lost on some of the levels

Still a fairly decent game. It's your basic run and gun game with a few stealth leels thrown in for good measure.

Haven't played the full game online yet though.

 

This game is VERY COOL... BUT

it was a little too short - and the ending SUCKS BIG MONKEYS...

also, i don't remember when i went to castle wolfenstein - was that where i started? i didn't go to castle wolfenstein at the end - where was it?

also i was a bit disappointed that I didn't get to kill Hitler...

 

There's a mod in making for RTCW, it's called "Return to Castle Sexenstein", for real. It's a multiplayer mod with bondage as the theme, it rox, lol it should be a good laugh, taunting your friends with bondage whips, lmao.

Took me from friday to monday on and off on the medium setting

I dont really care about the single player tho I got it for multiplayer which rocks!

conceivably a good game, although i think it is rather bland and uninspiring at times : seen it all before... (maybe not done as well as this, but it's the same concept n all)

hardly played it, cos i got AVP2 and GTA3 at the same time and im adicted to GTA3, cant get AVP2 to work

Actually i tend to agree. Been there done that with Dayofdefeat and CS. But its got real sexy gfx and trueform rox! especially when you crank up the textures and FSAA (admittidly im only gettin 30-60fps but its def playable).

First 2 missions are crap, basically. Oo zombies... not scary, take ages to kill, you do it again and again and again YAWN.

3 part 1 - took me 50+ attemps - got really pissed off.
3 part 2/3 - great, lovely big open map, you had a challenge to get the rocket ready too which was fun, and the paras look awesome dropping from the sky.
4 is a bit of a let down so far and im stuck cant find the venom stuff on part 2.

AI is really really good too. They really are human like and all have different moves and use the map/area well. Not like max payne where its just a bunch of lemmings with guns.
