Well, Ive finally chosen all my parts, I will be walking into Scan on Monday morning to collect which will feel like Christmas morning felt when I was 8..... 2500K to be overclocked Asus P8Z68-V/GEN3 Intel Z68 (wanted the PCIE3 for future upgrades) Corsair Memory Vengeance LP Black 16GB DDR3 1600 MHz CAS 9 XMP Quad (quad for future upgrade ease) 750W OCZ ZT Modular PSU (5 year warranty) and an EVGA GTX460, I already have one of these and fancy giving SLI a go. its all going into my existing Antec 100 with a 500GB HDD. It will be used for gaming mainly (Skyrim and BF3) with a little Photoshopping by the wife, output is 1920x1080. Let me know what you think, I think its all pretty acceptable. Thanks
Lian Li 7FNW case would be a nice aluminium upgrade from that Antec bean can. http://www.specialtech.co.uk/spshop/customer/Lian-Li-Midi-Tower-Aluminium-Black-Case-with-Window--PC-7FNWB-pid-10678.html
Two 460s should provide enough grunt for most purposes, i'd keep an eye on the CPU if you're using the stock heatsink, however. It might do about 4.5 on it, but it'll be rather toasty during it.
Ah good, the rest of the rig looks good, way want to SLI or get a better GPU though (I would recommend getting a single fast GPU)
Iam happy with the case at the moment, its only a few months old and my budget is pretty much used up with everything else. If I feel that the cooler or case istn up to the job then I will look into it but for the time being they remain......besides its black inside which I think looks good, I think unpainted insides look abit naff these days
Well I got another 460 for £103 so for the price it seems like a good addition, if I bought a more expensive single I would have to compromise elsewhere. I have chosen PCI3 for future ease of upgrading so my next major upgrade would be Ivybridge and a PCIE3 card.

I would agree but steel is also naff. And that case is small with poor cable tidying options and te side panel where you would store auxiliary wires is too thin.
The cable tidying options are fine, I dont have any wires in places I dont want them to be. For £45 its the best around and Custom PC still recommends them in their budget pc spec
I dont understand your point, my case looks just as tidy as yours, theres minimal intrusion from wires that are needed and not. Wires only appear from the back where immediatley needed. Are you assuming that because its a budget case that its a tangled mess of wires? I wanted to be very meticulous with my build and my case allowed me to do this. I fail to see any difference between how tidy my case is and yours, except mine looks better in black.
