Hey guys My recently acquired Roccat Kone+ has the classic symptoms of the scrolling wheel glitch, which can be seen HERE. I have found two solutions so far: 1) blow air in it [didn't work] 2) put some WD40 in it [don't really feel like trying...] The thing is, a lot of people on the net said that Roccat fixed the issue via a driver/firmware update and, despite my mouse being up to date, I still have the issue. Does anyone have another solution ? NCIX were the only one in Canada to have the mouse in stock and I bought the last one so if I were to sent it to RMA, it would take forever since Roccat is in germany ... thanks
Last time I had that issue; it was caused by a driver conflict between the mouse software and the windows scrolling setting. Try tweaking those to see if anything changes. It bugged the hell out of me, too.
Thanks I didn't think of that EDIT: when i first uninstalled my DeathAdder drivers, they crashed and I had forgotten about it so they were still installed. Intellipoint was also installed (windows installs it automatically when a microsoft mouse is plugged in) and I guess both actually ... helped... Because now that they are gone, the problem is even worse 0.o I'll keep diagnosing ... *sigh* . I hate mice, they're even worse than printers...
I tried the WD40 and it worked for about two days ... what a piece of **** EDIT: and wtf is this ? http://www.aflams.org/vb/showthread.php?t=138688
