    Almost as bad as my sisters copy of RTC, which when you go to run the update thinks its the Swedish version when its not (so you have to install another add on and then patch it)

    hey, half life ownz! you *******s! lol, but that's funny indeed... yeah, it's well known that valve sux at:
    • network coding
    • patch coding
    • support
    • they only did it for the money, and are still doing it for the money (remember Blue Shift, anyone? :()

    Yes... It's not made by Valve.

    I think sayin 'Valve are only in it for the money' is like a big kick squaw in the online games community's nuts. Valve have supported Half-Life more than any other developer would care to on any other game ever released.

    Well unless you back stuff up, I'm gonna have trouble being convinced...

    There's plenty out there to know how damned dedicated Valve are to keeping Half-Life constantly updated and running as smooth as possible. CounterStrike wouldn't be as popular as it is today if Valve hadn't have stepped in and aided them.

    and, if they were really only in it for the money, we'd be charged for going online and using servers, plus, we wouldnt be given the ability to creat our own servers to go on.

    and we'd have to pay for the new patches.

    nice error! valve really do care about there gamers, and so do a lot of other developers, the thing with only paying like that for mmorpgs suggest that most developers do!!:)

    yeah, death to MMORPGS! erm, i mean paying for games!

    I tried to cancel my DAoC subscription, but i was 1 day late, my last months subscription has been activated, meaning i gotta pay for a month where i aint gonna play the damn game cos i was 1 day into the month.

    I say death to paying for games fullstop, they shud all be free to get and play.. then I could spend my money on something constructive like a bottle of Vodka.

    Oh, and on the half-life note, that ghey new F1 and F2 thing they included in Cs 1.5 took me ages to get of, I hate patches :)

    I will close with one question. Who the hell uses the dual barrettas?! Omg they are soooo lame, u do more damage throwing them at your enemy.

    Wow, i have managed to turn the convo from paying fort games, to how DAoC is ghey to how i hate cs. Cool! :)

    they have certain comical value and make for a fun lan game when only dual barrettas, flashbangs and smoke grencades are allowed and also groin only shots allowed. (hey we had a bit to drink)

    on another hl mod i headshotted someone with a grenade :D
