    Hi everyone

when I try to turn on my computer, it is not always receive signal (power button keep flashing and the screen is blank). This also happen when I restart my PC.

This problem has been for a while, and it is quite annoying, aspecially when I need to restart my PC, which I need to turn off my PC and wait for minutes before I turn on the monitor that able to have image on the screen

I have an ATI XFX HD4870X2 graphics card and I use DVI to connect the monitor. I also have installed the driver that come with the monitor, but I think the driver is for VGA, I try to find the driver for DVI, but I can't find it. Does anyone know where to find the driver? Also does anyone knows how to fix this problem?

    Thank you

DVI and VGA are the just the type of connector that plugs into the video card. There is no driver for them.
There are drivers for 32bit and 64bit operating systems. As well as xp,vista,win7 etc.
If the monitor sometimes has an image on it then I would suggest that you try a different monitor. As the one that you have may be bad.
I would also suggest that you try a different cable.

And there is also a chance that the video card may have a problem.

Unfortunately with the symptoms that you have given us, its most likely a hardware issue but there is no way to know which one until you rule some of them out.

One other thing to try is to remove the old driver that you have installed and put on the latest one from www.amd.com

i had a problem similar to that with a certain catalyst version, i cant remember which one it was now.

try swapping the dvi port when it says no signal. thats what i had to do, but it seems to be fixed in newer catalyst drivers

I have the slightly larger version of that LCD, and I think I know what you mean.. It takes a long time for it to turn on, and just turning it on/off or just waiting a little bit fixes the problem for me.
