SATA Raid

    the new Gigabyte board, the KT400A - Ultra, has Serial Raid, but can I only use 2 disk array?

    it appears so, but will there be a 4 disk raid array for SATA?

    Most SATA RAID systems only support 2 drives at the moment as SATA does not have the master/slave thing like parallel ATA has. 3ware does manufacture a 4 drive array system, however it is not cheap!:sigh:
