Other Scariest thing thats happened with you and hardware?

Never had a PSU blow on me - I've used some cheapo ones in the past. Made sure I bought a good one for my new build.

Scariest Hardware Moment: Old Laptop started smoking then caught fire while I was using it. I had not put the plug fully into the middle block and it sent surges through. Such a simple mistake but so easy to happen. This has got to be the biggest threat to any laptop.

Why do they still make the power wire separate rather than mold it all as 1 power supply? They are accidents waiting to happen as they could come lose over usage without you realising.
