Small Form Factor Serious cooling problems (SN85G4)

I'm in the same boat, idle is around 50c and i'd like to cool things down, I also have an x800 card. With the 120mm fan mounted, you are saying keep the ICE fan in tact AND have the 120mm fan as well? I also have issues with fan speed, when on a low setting it revs up and down over and over, very annoying, is there a way to fix that? I thought a bios upgrade would help but the windows based updater wouldn't run for me, and I was to scared to try it the other way..
