Here's how I setup the CLI version.
Try to find an addon called SetiStash. (this applies to Windows only)

It likes to be put in Program Files.
Copy the seti CLI .exe into C:\program files\seti@home\.
Rename the i386-winnt-cmdline.exe to seti.exe (very important)
    Start setistash.
When prompted for Username and PW enter them. (this will be in the CLI window, setistash is a seperate program)

In the setistash program click the third button. (setup)
Select "start processing at startup," "start minimized in system tray," and "hide CLI window"
Add cashes if desired, I find that for dialup more is better, but a minimum of 2 is recomended (up to 50)

"Verbose" will cause the CLI window to display the current result (try it for yourself)
"CPU Number" is only useful in a multi proccessor system.
"Hide" Makes the program run as a tray icon.
"Process all workunits" should be selected. (it will only process the selected WUs if not)
"Invisible tray icon" will make it difficult to transferr the units.
The other buttons should be self explanitory.

Going on holiday for three weeks and gonna leave my crunchers going.

    Not gonna dump them tho.

Will make a huge dump of about 220 units when I come back :)

Will be dumping with what machines I can get crunching when I am in Dubai, whch should be atleast three fairly fast machines.

Gonna stomp over some people on the team :) ....

    Crunchers being left on.

    P4 2.4 @ 2.61
    Celeron 400 @ 400

Machines that will crunch once I get to dubai

    P4 2.53 @ 2.75
    P4 1.7 @ 1.7
    Celeron 2.0 @ 2.2

    :D

Still need someone to host my SetiQueue tho :(

I have a dream... to buy 8 8-CPU Opteron systems and run Seti 24/7.

Yeah right. (I couldn't even afford the bandwidth to keep the cpus busy)

damn i only got 2 comps doing WU's. but the funny thing is 2 comps are doing half the work of 11.

    Dell P4 1.8 - 3 hour WU's

    FroggyPC P4 2.8 @ 3.1 - about 2 hours a unit.

both systems have a 1024 ram.

    Hi all,

Joined the bit-tech SETI team a couple of months ago currently with 1375 WU's.

I joined SETi about 4 years ago when I had a single K6-2 450 running the client - currently I have:

Athlon XP 2000+ Palamino - Win XP
PIII Coppermine 933 - Win XP
    PIII Coppermine 733 - Win 2K Server
    PIII 600 - RH Linux 9
PIII 750 Mobile - Win XP
HP B132L+ - HP UNIX 10.20 (Yes I know this is very very sad!)
    P4 2.2 Mobile

These used to be in the same room but the heat over the summer was unbearable so half of them are in a garden shed at the end of 30ft KVM leads. The HPUX box is clocked at 133Mhz but it still cranks out about 1 unit a day!
