Star Wars KOTOR (both I & II). Great games. Awesome. Unless you have a CPU with more than a single core or hyperthreading. The exes get out of sync with the CPU over the course of a couple of hours unless affinity is set to a single core instead of both. This isn't just a problem with KOTOR but other games as well- Space Empires IV & V, and a whole bunch of others have the exact same problem.

So, is there a way to permanently set the affinity of a program to run on a single core? An application, perhaps? I have heard of the mythical "imagecfg" from Microsoft, but that appears to be A) not downloadable, e.g. mythical and B) for Windows 2000 and NT. Anyone have any other ideas/use something else?

Not sure if it has the feature, but try Prio.
