Well UV LEDs do give off a purple color. Not nearly as bright as an actual purple LED would be since a lot of the light is in the non-visible spectrum. A bicolor with red and blue going or just a red and blue right next to each other should do the trick though.
Nice work. Change the power LED to suit, it looked good when all the LEDs were switched to blue, but it looked out of place when they were different colours. Can't be that hard to do?
So...... hi all ! I was a bit sick, but I'm fine now and I'm back to do what you like the best - Shuttle Mods !!! After some serious troubles with the motherboard (FN45), I sent it, and got back a new one, that works (duh....) and seems to work better and doesn't do some idiot bugs that the previous motherboard used to do... starting with that handle I bought...(a pair for arround 5$) I hesitated if I should put two handles from side to side, or just one on the middle. Finally I saw that putting two handles was a stupid thing to do top view other thing I've done - I added a blue LED near the ATX power connector, so the ventilation holes are shine and have a very very nice look !!! here is the beautiful window I've made, and you can see the 9200SE behind it. Now, The COM connector is for the infraRED remote control... you can see the wires going into the case.. Here is a general look to the back of the Shuttle, With blue UV Vantec fan... Next job would probably be sleeving for the PSU and others... Please reply ! Avner
Do you think I should make a window on the top ? I think it is not needed.... Can you suggest other mods ? Avner
I wouldn't maybe do kind of that window to my case if I'd have old graphiccard Should you maybe sandbrush it?
actually I like that texture of the cover... the big window will be lighted with UV CCFL and some UV stuff
I like the LED coloured feet, but that window need lazer etching with a good graphic design. Nice work though
Hey Bro' You have some serious sand problems with your Shuttle I know you're in Israel, but perhaps a quick run with the vacuum cleaner wouldn't hurt ...
my computers the same and im in canada and its winter and it still sucks in all the dust in the room, i hate dusty fans blah
Nice modding! I personally don't like the look of your COM connector, I'd suggest internalizing it. Other than that, good work on all the lighting, keep it up. luvbug
Thanks all !!! dust is a problem, but I can clean the fans once a month, and all's OK... there's no internal COM header, so I must use this one... I will maybe improve the way it looks.. Avner
vacuum = static = dead computers Looks very nice though, that handle's very elegant. Good choice over not doing two... the whole point of handles is to reduce the workload and you need two hands without them anyways (usually).
