Looks uglier than the RV02. The gold trim doesn't do it any favours.

apart from the overly flashy front decoration, i like it, i like its space saving layout a lot!

but the HDD at back of motherboard is a bit worrying, there are no airflow there, how would they get cooled? they really need a small amount of airflow to keep them from reaching 45c+.

Nice case, shame about the Gold go faster stripes. Yuck.

I like the raven at the bottom of the front, but Gold trim? I wouldn't even want that on a sports car let alone a computer in my room. But then I suppose I'd take the FT02 anyway.

I reallly like the HD mountings on the rear though.

They’re joined by the side panel fan mount, so you can blow cool air onto the rear of your motherboard's CPU socket (via the hole to mount CPU cooler backplates) and over these disks.

I like the space saving design too but with all the fancy decoration makes it cheap looking. Guess they just want it to look a bit different than the previous RV's, albeit rather overdone.

If only they'd apply the front-facing PSU design to the FT02, so they could shorten the case to about 50cm...

Or market the case they designed for MainGear as the Shift...

Not a fan of the gold trim or the rear mounted HDDs. Although the main compartment seems very neat the rear looks like a big mess with bits thrown together wherever there was spare space.

I built a rig using the Raven RV02 because it looked good. I can't really say that first impressions are better with this version at all. Was there something wrong with the last version that I haven't heard about or experienced?

As Will Smith said "If it ain't broke, don't try to fix it!" (In a high pitched melody black mans voice)

I like it apart from the gold trim. A very quiet fan would fix any HDD temp worries but I cant imagine that would be a necessity. My HDD temps barely get above 30C and they have next to nothing when it comes to airflow.

I can imagine having the drives back there works wonders for keeping the cables looking tidy through the side window.

I like the design. Remove the gold flashes and I think it could be quite popular.

It would be interesting to see if its easy to paint over the gold with something like white, red or a deep blue. It looks to me like it may be removable once some black plastic is unscrewed.

lets hope they make that gold trim an option or at least changable with another colour.
