Have set up the SMP client per the latest CPC mag, but it doesn't seem to be doing anything.

It's starting up and appears to make a start but the only cpu time being used is that of the gpu client.

Have I missed anything? I think i've set the right options for not using affinity, on vista x64.

Are you using the VMware SMP client?

Don't forget that you have to set the VMware client's CPU priority to low in task manager to make sure that the GPU client still gets it's share of the CPU's time.

    I run 2x VMWARE SMP's and 1 xGPU on a QX9650 @ 4GHz no problem.
As Uni said set the priorities.

The guide's in the mag are good (although I didn't write the SMP one, only edited it)

I changed the priority to low after restarting with -config switch.

All folding along happilly now. Only using one SMP client, just set as per the mag bar changing the priority to low.
