    shouldnt really pour boiling water onto any glass unless its pyrex like :) Has a tendency to crack/break. You know the eejits who pour kettles of water on their windscreens in the winter? :D

    ya, you're sposed to use warm tapwater. and not if you live where it actually gets cold, only when you live in a relatively temperate area.

    a friend of the family made that mistake once. he was used to living here in south-west BC, where it rarely goes below 0, and never below -10, and he moved to calgary, ended up with a big sheet of ice on his windshield.
