News Sony tells Vaio owners to hang fire on Windows 10

I guess that is for their special hardware and software support buttons as I upgraded my Vaio and everything works as expected but I junked all the Sony Bumpf on the machine a long time ago.

Tends to be one of my first steps on laptops, unistall preinstalled stuff.

 

"Shall we look at the drivers?"
"Nah, we'll do it next week."

 

If your machine is on 8/8.1 already, there shouldn't be any issues.

Likewise, Sandy, except I do a full reinstall as soon as I get any pre-installed garbage.
