This happens to me occasionally with my Shuttle but this is the first time I've come across it on my laptop. My sound device just turns off automatically. I've only ever been at the computer once while it's done it but I remember the screen refreshes and the Start bar goes unlocked and then locked again, meaning that any window that's open is moved up a bit. That's how I know it's happened when I'm not here for the actual event. I've only been back at my laptop for an evening [back for Christmas] after not using it for a couple of months and it does this. Is it something to do with the videos I try and watch? I watched a music performance video last night and everything was fine until I tried to listen to anything this morning. Any ideas?
