I've heard from various people that there are known issues with the SB Live value on the new KT133A chipset motherboards. I'm looking at changing my SB Live anyway as I have a need for this card in a new build (Old rig new box). It's nearly two years old and was bought when they had just come out. What do you recommend? My sound card has stopped working ... wont allow my pc to boot up (sb live!) so it looks like i will be either getting a sonic fury or finding some dosh 4 a game theater XP
Nothing wrong with the Sonicfury. I have one and with the exception of having to download the drivers for NT and 2000 (24 meg each) i've had no problems. Bit of an upgrade from the SB PCI 128 i originally had!
