Storage SSD

    Yeah, definitely disable hibernating, but the general recommendation for pagefiles on SSDs is to set the minimum to 200MB (that being the min required for error logging) so that 'if' you don't need any more from your actual usage then it won't assign it.


    Oh & the greenness obviously is what really makes SSDs shine...

    Haha thanks chaps,

    Have disabled hibernation, changed the default Windows User account folder to the old HDD and default install and decreased the page file.
    Hopefully only the OS should now be reliant on the SSD apart form the occasional install update etc.
