Actually the vodka is for radiation poisoning - Anomaly protection is something else entirely, Primarily Artifacts and psi protection depending on the anomaly. Springboard and Vortex anomalies for example you simply cannot fully protect against. /2cents
I remember spending way too long quite close to the beginning of the game jumping around and trying to find different routes to anomalies before I resigned to the fact that I just wasn't supposed to get them yet. At first it was frustrating, but I guess it adds a "mini-game" element to the main game as you can revisit later in the game and see if you can pick up missed artifacts which your new gear. Apologies if this was discussed before I skimmed the last half a page. Has anyone seen this? It is made by former GSC employees with elements of STALKER but it isn't STALKER. As far as I can tell it is basically a Free to play MMOFPS STALKER.
Holy crap doze screenshotz http://survarium.com/en/news/anomalies-first-screenshots-posted I'm going to dig around and see if I can find my copy today I know I bought it back in 08.
Love the series, finished all 3 titles. I recommend using the following mods, I've tested lots and found these to be decent and consistent, Easy installer. Made by Paul Dolgov. S.T.A.L.K.E.R Shadow Of Chernobyl Complete S.T.A.L.K.E.R Clear Sky Complete S.T.A.L.K.E.R Call of Pripyat Complete You might have to check for saved games compatibility. I plan on playing them all again, Cranking all the graphic settings this time round, Maybe make a weekend of it some time. I also plan on trying the Misery mod for CoP, Sound good too.
It has to beat this.. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Max-Bygraves-Singalonga-War-Years/dp/B000260R3M (yes my grandparents had it haha)
The Complete mods are a bit trash TBH but a good intro. Try some of the more advanced mods because those are utterly glorious.
