    Hello,

I've had no reason to install a client for gaming for ages (steam suffices for most) however I could do with one at the moment.

It's been years, so I'm wondering, is x-fire still the programme of choice?

Steam is slowly replacing x-fire for me. Once Steamworks gets rolling I would expect to see more and more games have full Steam Community support.
