So for the last month or two one of my PC's has been having this strange problem where it'll boot up to the windows loading screen and then my monitor will flick off, PC will be unresponsive. If I do a hard reboot, same thing. However, if I shut down, flick off the power switch, cycle the power to "clear" any charge in the PSU, and then turn on, half the time it'll boot successfully into windows.

Mind you this is an ancient system, tbred 2200+, Asus A7333 mobo, gainward GF4Ti4600, you get the picture.

PSU problem? Some other strange problem?
