I couldn't find a thread for it, so I'll start a new one... Basically, if you haven't been watching Suits, you really should be. That is all. Discuss.
Came hear expecting to talk about Suits the clothing. Was slightly disapointed. I've never watched Suits the TV show. Someone sell it to me.
Hence the TV Shows tag.. Its kinda like House, but with litigation.. and more awesome.. and more suits.
It is a fusion of Shark and House. I absolutely love it. I cannot wait for the second half of this season.
I saw the first episode and enjoyed it, but I don't think it was a solid basis for a whole tv series. Watched the first episode of the second season and didn't find it too interesting. Having only previously watched the pilot I was caught up straight away and not lost in the slightest. I don't know if that's a testament to the writing or sign that the show didn't develop in the slightest over the course of the first season. The part I don't buy is that everyone gets so intensely wound up over the pretty banal job of being a lawyer.
Likeable 'rogue' main lead, witty smart stories, great character interaction .. oh did I mention the hot female lawyers/staff in tight tops and skirts Just catching up with the second half of season 2 (stupid mid-season breaks!) and have to say they are doing a great job so far.
I definitely want to work in that office: apparently, their recruitment policy says "no ugly women", but ugly men are allowed - so I'd fit right in theshadow2001: you might have guessed what had happened, but it's not the destination that's interesting, it's the journey there
The first season was a sort of 'the small man wins' vibe. The second season seems to be people being played off each other. It's quite good so far. The script is tight, the characters are likeable (or dislikeable) and considering it's about lawyering and stuff, it's not boring.
I'll agree that the season pilots are completely transparent, and after the first few episodes I've figured out the season, but frankly I couldn't care less about that. The show has a decent amount of comedy to it with out horrid forced one liners like HIMYM, which is funny but painful at the same time. House needed to die as a show, it started off great but then it stagnated beyond belief and I stopped watching it out of interest and more of "well I've started so I'll finish".
It's got Donna and Rachel in it nuff said................. (that's in order of preference as I lurv red heads)
