Awaiting drivers from Intel. http://www.bit-tech.net/news/hardware/2015/05/11/surface-3-not-win10-compatible/1
Brand new Microsoft computer not compatible with brand new Microsoft operating system. Yay! As much as I love the all new 'post Balmer' 21st century Microsoft, sometimes they are the same as always.
To be fair, it's still a preview build. As far as I'm aware Windows 8.1 with Bing devices can't be upgraded either due to the way it's installed on small eMMC drives.
To be fair Windows 10 is still in the preview stage (is that classed as a beta?) so expecting everything to work without problems seems a little harsh. Perhaps if it still doesn't support some hardware when it's released we can be more critical. Ninja EDIT: beaten to it by meandmymouth.
Vendor has not yet written driver for pre-release operating system, operating system vendor gets the blame.
OMG the pre-release Windows 10 build still lacks drivers for a CPU that was released two months ago. Say it ain't so!
It's more than that; OS Vendor has not yet been provided with driver from manufacturer to be included in pre-release operating system. OS Vendor gets blame
