I am looking at this card reader, http://www.xsreviews.co.uk/reviews/drives/scythe-fdd-and-card-reader/

It like 90% of card readers today seem to be connected via USB header.

I have a machine which has free Sata ports, A floppy cable.

Id like to get the best multi function card reader I can, Whats the best thing to do, purchase a PCI usb header providing card, do they even exsist, I have not seen one.

This is a pretty common problem :wallbash:

    Help would be appericated.

most motherboards come with at least 2 USB headers on the them.

usually for hooking up the case USB ports.

can you not use them ???

just re checked, the board has one, its in use providing the 2 usb ports on the front plate of the machine, I think im going to have to lose those ports and connect the internal reader to that one usb header port.

your mobo just got the one header then ?

i tihnk you can also get card readers with USB built in also so you would lose front USB ports then
