Want me to Tivo it for you? ;)

Actually, we may start a bit before you all do, but don't forget that for whatever reason, half way through the season in September, they stop showing the new eps until January.

This occasion deserves a new avatar...

BSG S2! You lucky thing. Hopefully we see it soon too.

Last I heard they weren't that far through production. Maybe they've stepped things up or that may be the reason for the break.

You're really not helping your case any, Dad. You're on the list already. Your end is just becoming more exquisite and painfull... ;)

Have fun tonight. Just remember, some of us won't get to watch it until some indeterminate point in the future (When our Reptilian Overlords, AKA the SKY top brass, deem to schedule it) as some of us don't download. So do the decent thing, and start a Spoiler thread that I can stay clear of.

    Ta. :D

Hehehehe... This is the only time I can gloat a bit - remember that we have a hiatus from September through December and you all get the 2nd half of the season well before we do.

I've never been a fan of sci-fi TV because I feel too many shows just concentrate on being 'scifi' and don't actually put much effort into being a high quality show in it's own right.

    Then BSG came along.

What a fantastic first season, it totally blew any conceptions of itself out the window. Great visuals (loved the shaky camera work), original story and actors who could....act. :D

IMO, BSG is a long awaited show that has brought the standard of sci-fi on par with other great TV.

Anyway, that's my rant and lets just end it with saying that I will be rapidly downloading the headers of a certain usenet group shortly.

Well with SG-1 They had to start establishing new events and stuff, because they basically could of ended the series at the end of the last season. SGA and BSG all had to continue where they left off, and they did it well. :)
