I hung around with ravers in my early teens. Some good times :)

Techno's cool. I tend to lean more toward the Ultraviolence style of things (extreme...BPM chasers)

I dont understand all this 'regionalisation' of music. I like ALL music, from student bashing dustbin lids together to classical. There is only one (1) music genre I'm not yet sure of, that being Jazz... its a LOT hap-hazzard. I'll probably get used to it if/when I hear more of it though.

    EDIT:
the winamp station Digitaly imported radio has a nice sound to it - it even has a sister station dedicated to classical music.

Lemon Jelly and Telepopmusik arnt really techno When i went to a Lamb gig telepopmusik were doing a set before lamb, and by some twist of fate i ended up meeting the band... but at the time i didnt know who they were.

I met one of the brothers from Orbital that way too, just chatting away about how he tried to cut infront for a beer.

BT is fantastic though!! never forget Homelands and seeing him live

You might like Hybrid going on what music you listed there.

well, i would tend to argue about telepop and lemon jelly.
Technicly i feel techno is a genre of all electronic mixed and sampled songs that does not constrain on beat spead or anything of the sort. But if you want to use the newer genre list i gues they just fit in to the "electronica" category.
None the less love the smooth karma beats and melodies sometimes. But then there are times where all i need is some driving beats to drive all fast too.

Oh yeah, anyone got the new gatecrasher cds? i havent baught em yet and am wondering what people think of em
