I have built a few XP Pro-based kiosk PC's which are locked down with a group policy that disables everything but internet browsing.

However, somewhere along the line, an option that I disabled in Group Policy Editor has had the effect of disabling using the mouse to select text.

Double-clicking on a word or paragraph still selects it, as does holding down shift and using the arrow keys, but all text now cannot be selected by clicking and dragging the mouse over it. This also applies to text in field boxes as well, e.g. the internet explorer address bar and Google search box.

I have been looking for the option which affects text selection to turn it back on again, but have not been able to find it.

Does anyone know exactly which option I need to turn back on?

    Many thanks!
