Modding The Black DRAGON (digi doc 5)

The Dragon Chieftec Casing
This could be something old to you.
This Case front Panel was make up with Blue and Red Cold Cathole Lights. Casing Stands were cover with acrylic & a REd Led in it. Below the case I am using 20xurltra bright LEDS. Notice there's NO window? Up till now I am still thinking what shape. Maybe you can share your Ideas here.

i would vinyl dye the drive covers black as beige just makes you vomit

 

np, its because angelfire dont allow hotlinking...

and its an ok mod, but in the day, the red cathode looks ****. lol.

ps. was changing the LED hard ?

Changing led was fun instead. Anyway i change all my drives to blue led.>icecube

 

can i ask, what size solder iron did you use ?

and vinyl dye will make it look much better mate.

i will be doing it on my cheiftech.

I am using 20/200watt with a very fine solder head. Not sure sure abt the size. Happy Modding.

just you wait untill i finish my examsand start on my case. I have already finsihed my neon string keyboard and now have to vinyl dye my mouse and drives black (as you can't get it in silver), putting a custom window in the side, changing leds to blooooooooo, a bloo and uv cathode behind the window, already done my baybus and then some blowholes up top.

just need to get some more money to pay for it all.

Just one question though.... i need some front usb ports and was wondering howyou did yours.

That is one sweet @ss case. Just need a window, cathodes inside, black drives and bl()()'d digidoc and it will be in my top 5 caseys Ive ever seen

I am using a car Brake light that make up using 24pcs of LED. Didnt actually use up all in the end, it drew too much power. I cut cut then into half. 8pcs each side. 4LED were link out to the Casing stands as you can see. Before that I am thinking of using cathole light, but as you know cathole light wouldnt last long.
