Tend to revisit this game every couple of months and it's developing nicely. Best advice I can offer is don't sleep where you eat! Keep your dwellings simple and away from the hunting ground so if the cannibals discover the shelter, it's easy to move away. Also make use of so called 'Marker Sticks' these help you navigate the island when you discover something useful like clean water.

    Hello

Yeah I have been playing this game on and off for a while. I think its quite good and got the potential to be great.

I don't think its wise to play a game where exploring the game is one of its biggest features whilst the game is still in alpha too much.

After getting the basic stuff from the plane and its surroundings go and make base number 1 elsewhere. I managed to build one base on an isolated island once so none of the tribes could disturb my sleep.

I've just got back into it and I think it's potentially a great game. It's still in alpha a year after release so it's not as stable as you'd like but still playable. They've introduced a number of patches and fixes so you should be able to get some good gaming sessions out of it.

Let me know if any of you wish to host a co-op game.
