With easter holidays soon, i have some spare time to get stuck into a game or two..

im currently racking my brains and cant come up with anything to play (on pc)

    i have played (not complete list, but ones worth mentioning) the following;

    Diablo 2
    Deus Ex (currently replaying)
    Morrowind,
    Oblivion,
    Fallout 3,
    Fable,
    Mass Effect,
    Bioshock,
    Left 4 Dead,
Dawn of war (all of the first set)
    Dawn of war II
    Warhammer : Age of reckoning
    F.e.a.r (original)
    Mirrors edge
    HL2 + ep 1 / 2 and portal.

Soooo.... any ideas on games i could play?

i was thinking the witcher, dead space, and spore... got anything better?

Which of those games did you really like? And were there any that you didn't really like?

Similar to Diablo 2, is a game called Sacred. A new one just came out called Sacred 2, and it's quite popular. I haven't played it so can't recommend it yet, but you could find plenty of reviews. I may buy it some day.

If you like Morrowind and Oblivion, there are two similar games. One called Gothic 3, and one called Two Worlds. They all came out at around the same time and they are all very similar but they all just do things in their own way so there are enough differences for it to be worth trying out. I have played Morrowind/Oblivion and all those other games and I liked them all.

If you are in to RTS's, there are some good ones. There was one that was super popular a couple of years ago, called Company of Heroes. It's a great game. There is a modern one too which I really liked, called World in Conflict. And then there is the entire Command & Conquer franchise which has a new game each year pretty much. This year they have Red Alert 3 which only came out a month or two ago and yet there is an expansion for it already which is supposed to make it even better. There is also Supreme Commander which is like a big hardcore RTS.

As for FPS's, I've lost interest in them in recent years so hopefully someone else can recommend something. I notice you haven't got Crysis or Call of Duty 4 though. You might like one or both of those. There's also Unreal Tournament 3 if you want lots of online action.

For something a bit different, there is Grand Theft Auto 4 on the PC. If your PC is quick enough, it looks beautiful. I've played all the GTA games so I was semi-bored by it because it's the same as all the others really, but if you are new to those games you might really love it. Most people do.

There is also a puzzle game called World of Goo which has been really popular recently. "Puzzle game" makes it sound boring but it's actually really REALLY great. So addictive and so original.

    Another few names:
Heroes of Might & Magic (I think the last one I played was 5 which was amazingly good).
Mount & Blade - check this out on line, everyone seems to adore it
Civlization 4 - (there are also some expansions for this)
Neverwinter Nights 2 - (There are 2 expansions for this which are meant to make it much better. The great thing about NWN2 though is that you can download new campaigns which I much preferred to the original)
DCS: Black Shark - this is a big, modern, hardcore, helicopter gunship simulation. You can tweak it to be easy to play like an arcade game almost, or make it like a full simulation.
Space Rangers 2: Reboot - This game is not a big flashy big budget game, but I really liked it. It's basically a 2d space game where you trade or fight pirates in your little space ship. You can also do missions and quests. You build up money and upgrade your ship and eventually you have to take on a race of AI Aliens which are trying to take over the galaxy. I was super addicted to this game.

Or you could try some classic old games if you were interested. They wouldn't be as pretty as modern games but there are some classics that some people prefer still today, over anything new.

if you have a half decent joystick and like space combat sims (like wing commander) definitely check out freespace and freespace 2 (you can get both from gog.com really cheap). I always have a blast playing those.

If you want to get your PhD of PC Gaming, "play" EVE Online, more a way of life than a game. I'd strongly recommend sending emails to all the people who wont be seeing you anymore, explaining to them if they want to see you to meet you in Rens.
