Hey everyone, I just wanted to post pics of my latest completed case. It was featured in the February 2005 Issue of PC Modder, along with the Strider, and some other great case mods. And heres the article from PC Modder: (I didnt scan it so dont blame me for the blurry pic ) Anyway, comments are welcome.
I saw the article and resolved to search the web for a project log or something; lo and behold here it is! Would you mind posting some closeup pics of the textured surface? And I like your use of random stuff for the "optical implant." Thanks!
noticed that tonight when flipping through my friends issue. Tobad its such a small picture, was gonna look for it becuase it looked nice. Very good looking job.
Thanks for the comments! I was also dissapointed by the picture size, but at least it was in the mag! I'll edit an existing worklog I have on another site and post it here in the Project Logs section. I also have another WL in progress if any of you would like to check it out. http://forums.bit-tech.net/showthread.php?t=81697
Dude, that case is awesome! How did you make those outside lines and crevices/I don't know what to call them?
The entire outside is covered in 3mm thick paperboard, and the "lines" are actually drop-ceiling hanger wire bent and cut into the shapes you see. I'll be posting a WL of it, maybe you'll get a better idea there.
damn did somebody see my lower jar? i would like to have it back. awsome mod dude. do you have a log while constructing?
oh. my. god. is that kitbashing? either way that is some anal retentive attention to detail. good f'ing job sir.
No Kit bashing occured... Its 100% home made. Sometimes I just wanted to when I realized how much detail it would entail.
