It was indeed...I thought I was the only person in the world who watched it Funnily enough, I was watching and episode of 'The Day Today' earlier on Google Video (feat. Alan Partridge) and recognised the main presenter as Chris Morris! http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-5299655482557338818&q=alan+partridge <A88>
All the sites I had looked at had it down for the start of this month, but it seems they were wrong. Hopefully not too long now, it was a series that grew on me in the end.
Oh but of course. I just thought he was an amusing character... I don't want to jump Noel and have his babies.
It CRowd wasn't the best, glad its gone, anyone else notice the amunt of old hardware they had lying around? Regards GiGo
Walk into any IT department and you'll be surrounded by piles of old hardware. A company I was working for moved it's IT department from one site to another, and it took 3 large skips to get rid of all the old hardware they'd accumulated!
A But like my cupboards then the problem I noticed was the fact, they had no NEW hardware etc...... it was laim. Not really that funny, good for a chuckle. Regards GiGo
Hi, The IT Crowd is an absurdist satire of office dramas, featuring those most indispensable of nerds, tech support geeks. The first thing I noticed watching this series was director Ben Fuller's patience. He has a willingness to let a joke build that evades most television directors. Some jokes are set up in the opening scene and wait until the final segment for the payoff. The show is further bolstered by great chemistry and timing between stars Richard Ayoade, Christopher Morris, Chris O'Dowd, and Katherine Parkinson. Each actor emits a brave willingness to take their characters to extremes for a laugh. It's all helped a great deal, of course, if you have a vague notion computer technology and its various sub-cultures, but for the most part, the audience is along for clever dialogue-related humour, not in-jokes
It's a great series. I work in IT and I still like it, which I think is a testament to how good it is.
"I'm going to murder you. You bloody woman." Hehehehe... you can't help but like it. The characters are all just funny - especially Jen! She cracks me up... and then, of course, there's Richmond.... I love the episode where he makes his first appearance... "...do I amaze you?" My mate fancies the absolute pants off Noel Fielding. I just think he's a bloody funny fella... But yeah, can't wait for Series 2! Joe
