Lets say you accidently knocked a glass of water across your desk and some landed on your computer, what would you do?

Turn off the PC and grab some kitchen towel! Get a bright torch and check over your components and dab the kitchen towel to test for suspected dampness. Just make sure it's all dry before switching it back on.

Not just turn it off, remove the power completely. Water might have gotten into the PSU. Then I'd probably dap off as much water as I could, then place a linen sack of rice in the computer and let it dry for a couple of days.

I would investigate who had put a glass of water on my pc desk, as i have a strict no drinking and no eating in my pc room.

Only liquids in my pc room are the ones inside the tubes.

Thanks guys, I just ripped all the cables out the back, took the side panels off and stuck it next to a radiator. Drunk me is the culprit for the glass of waters location and spillage so that's awkward... and about the cocktail glasses, I'm a student so the best I can do is a mug of whiskey.
