Photos The Van Der Waals Attraction

Helped run an event on Saturday, with a few bands, DJs, graffiti artists and video artists. I got a bit of free time to take some shots, but conditions were pretty difficult (pretty dark so I had to have high ISO, and I don't really like using flash right in a performer's face).

I love the compositions of 1 and 3... what lens is that using?

 

I think 1 is the Canon 10-22mm, and the third one is the 50mm f/1.8

Third one was just incredibly lucky, the light behind the guitarist is the flash of another photographer.

 

I like 1 to 3, I think the gritty high ISO adds to the pics TBH

I spot Scotch Egg in 5, snap!. Different event and not a great pic by me but I enjoyed the crazy live set he played (sorry for pic spam).

 

It's hard to get a pic of him, he never stops moving! Completely insane dude, but really nice as well. Was my job to ferry him to and from the station and to a meal.

 

Is he actually obsessed with KFC, or did you eat elsewhere?

 

He craved blue steak. So we managed to find the one place that wasn't fully booked that served steak and take him there.
