I thought the same, already have most of those. I will get a Panther though, just for a laugh.

I also wish it was a discount on the T-44, I am about to elite my T-43...The 5x is nice though, it should get me the biggest engine for my E-75 and get me the AMX50 100.

Any suggestions for a decent credit farmer out of those tanks on special?

All of the premiums, plus the PzKpfw Panther,,PzKpfw VI Tiger (P), T-34, PzKpfw III, PzKpfw IV, Hummel, M6, ARL 44 should be good credit grinders.

I will be getting the Tiger P, M6 and Panther. So I need to grind 2m credits in my Type 59. Managed to grind 800K credits today so only 1.2m to go.

I've finally grinded my jagdpanzer to get the 808 gun. The tanks so underpowered without it, ie bouncing shells off most mediums or plain missing due to rubbish accuracy and penetration First round with it, 4 kills! need to see how it fairs against an IS now

It is a great TD with the top gun, fantastic accuracy and ROF - you will have fun.

And if you think that one is fun, wait until you get the Jagdpanther with the 8.8 cm PaK 43 L/71 or the 10.5 cm K 18 L/52... :D.

Gun: 8.8 cm PaK 36 L/56 (top Jagdpanzer gun)
    Damage: 220/220/270
    Penetration: 132/171/44
ROF: 11.17 (only 10.5 when fitted to the Jagdpanzer)

    Gun: 8.8 cm PaK 43 L/71
    Damage: 240/240/295
    Penetration: 203/237/44
    ROF: 9.91

    Gun: 10.5 cm K 18 L/52
    Damage: 320/320/420
    Penetration: 200/244/60
    ROF: 7.29

Just had a great game in my T29, even though I have enough XP for the T32 (not enough credits to buy)...

    Victory!
    Battle: Fjords 12 April 2012 23:50:29
    Vehicle: T29
Experience received: 10,395 (x5 for the first victory each day)
    Credits received: 50,728
Battle Achievements: Mastery Badge: Ace Tanker, Boelter's Medal, Steel Wall, Top Gun

Don't have a screenshot as I haven't figured out how to configure that yet.

    Well done!

For printscreens, in game you press the Prt Scr button and it's saved to C:\Games\World_of_Tanks\screenshots\

    Awesome match Fingers!
For all those thinking of buying a panther: DO IT!! very good tank.

I just bought the 122mm fast shooter for the SU-152 and that pipe is ridiculous. Tracked a T-28 and took it apart, as well as an IS while being shot at by a VK3001H, killed him after and a KV-5. But very expensive to use at 1025 credits a shell and a 10 round/min fire rate...

Just got a lucky snap shot from my hetzer to one shot a KV-1S from ~70% - he got slightly surprised by that.

When in low tier battles though the hetzer is a bit ridiculous, able to just drive head on at anything with most shots bouncing then needing 1/sometimes 2 shots at close range to destroy them.

    same with the T1
in a lower teir match its godlike ( i remember running into a full toon of b1s and just thinking 'steel wall for me then' ignored them for most of the match as they bounced everything off me )

anyone else noticed that the number of zero damage crits / penatrations has gone up recently ?
i was top teir in my t29 and got a zero damage penatration on a m3lee backside 2 on an opposing tiger, and 1 vs a grille :wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash: in the same match

i seem to either get loads of zero damage crits, or none at all

    also got 3 ( 1 after the next ) agasint a hotchkiss in my 3601 ( with short 88 ) :grr:

Yeah I have but I've also noticed I've been bouncing more shots which makes you feel

    Sort of like:

Its not only 0 crits but really low damage rolls leaving tanks alive when they should die.

Article on it somewhere. You get low rolls when you're winning and high rolls when you're losing.

0 damage penetrating hits are happening 2 or 3 times a round for me now, even when using the BL-9 gun of the IS-4. It's costing me a fortune replacing wasted ammo and fixing damage that I should never have taken from tanks that should have already been killed.

I bought a Panther in the weekend sale, tried it with the 88mm but meh...then put the top 75mm on it - wow! The accuracy of that thing is awesome, I can "pop caps in their arses" from the other side of the map. It doesn't do a lot of damage but the RoF makes up for it. Great fun.

I also used my Type 59 to grind enough credits to buy the T32. As much fun as the T29 but faster, more HP and a higher RoF so I am enjoying it at the moment.

On another matter, I am still having mixed results with the E-75. I finally researched the biggest engine which made a HUGE difference, I can now actually move with confidence around the map and can also move away when spotted where previously it would mean instant arty death.

However, even with the E-75 maxed out, I still have only a 40% win ratio. I am constantly coming top or second to top in number of kills, am confederate a lot of times (those damn fast RoF mediums stealing my kills... :D) and am surviving more matches than before (due to faster engine) but I am constantly on the losing team.

I always seem to be in teams that ignore common sense or think that the E-75 is a Maus or E-100 for some reason. I have lost count of the number of matches I have lost where I am the only tank capping the enemy base but half the enemy team are already capping ours or where they think the E-75 is invulnerable so do not give me any help or protection. I then die when swamped by four or five enemy mediums.

Is this just a symptom of the random servers? Do I need to join a company with the E-75 so I am playing with (supposedly) better players?

In higher tiers a platoon is more important - we usually end up sending one or two guys back to defend if it even looks like it might be needed, then keep the strongest guy pushing forward, depending on the situation of course.

Yeah, I thought as much. Now to find some decent platoon players.
