So, when a skillet has been in an oven and reached about 400*F, the incorrect method of handling, is with ones bare hands. I know that now
I already went to the ER, they told me just be carefull, and if there's trouble go see your own doctor. What they otherwise do with big blisters is cut of all the dead skin, put on some anti-inflammatory creme and wrap the whole thing in gauze and plasticbag, for ten days... I prefer my current situation
I never understood the anti-inflammatory stuff. I, accidentally, burst the blister on my hand when I grabbed an iron when I was younger and that was fine - Didn't even scar, much unlike several other idiotic injuries.
So, did you burn any other part of your body when you flung the pan out of your hand and the hot foods scattered about? My sympathies, burns are the worst kind of injury. Unless you ingest a hand grenade, then that is worse.
I would think that'd be a bit more than an injury.. more of a fatality.. or maybe a smear on the wall.
No, the stupid thing is that I had just pulled it out out the oven and placed it on the stove top, with oven-mitts and stuff Then I had to move it, but seing it was just sitting on my stovetop as usual, I just grabbed it like always...
