    Hello.

    I need your advice.

I sold my smashing gaming rig pc to pay for a deposit on a flat. However I miss having a pc but was coping.

Then lo and behold! Ebuyer are offering the following today:

    Intel g1610
    Asus p8h61 mx
    4gb ddr3 ram
    Wd 500gb drive
Marc case with 500 w psu
    Dvd drive

All for a choice 170. Ok it's cheap and cheerful and lacks a gpu.. but?

Now if I did get a pc, I'd want to be able to upgrade it over time, and it needs to be able to play games. Is this a good deal and will it hold up?

    Thanks

I don't really have a budget as such. Perhaps 500 over a couple of months, but this to say has caught my eye.

    Bf3, Rome 2, coh2. I don't mind minimum settings for now.

If it's just going to be for games, mainly and abit of internet browsing why not go for a AMD FM2 setup or a FX setup.

Granted they maybe abit slower on the raw grunt for certain things but for games they are basically on a par with each other, and the beauty of a FM2 setup is that you wouldn't need a gpu straight away if you don't mind lowering the resolution and detail's abit until you can get a dedicated card.

Personally if it was me, I would save the cash up and buy decent stuff rather than a bundle that practically everything about it is going to have to be changed eventually.
