    Hello all,

Update 1- Working on drive bays

So far I have not had much time to do the mod as I had originally hoped (college, work, son) then moding the case, but I have made some progress with the build
here are the latest pictures I have got.

here is what I have done so far, cut the hole for the hdd cage to sit in so I have more space down below,

did a test fit to make sure the hole was wide enough and was capable of fitting it in.

I then realised that the bay was a bit too wide probably would have got away with it but to be on the safe side I decided to cut the base of the bay

    Before (measuring up)

    and double check

    gentlemen lets start the cutting

    and the sparks are flying

I then realised that I didn’t like how the ends of the bay was so I though a little cut here and there would sort it out

marked the cut out and got the dremel ready

cut done but not cleaned up yet,

I then though I didn’t like how it was and wanted to straighten that little bend out so though I would just get my heat gun and blast it make it supple and bend it back so its straight

maybe that wasn’t a good idea as this happened when I was bending it back to how I wanted it

    :wallbash::wallbash::duh:
now I have to copy that and make the other side the same

couldn’t be bothered to cut this one then heat it then bend it so I just heated it and then snapped it off

that’s all I had time for folks
