1200 points is about 9.99 for Xbox. Wouldn't have thought the PC version would be far off.

Stupid 360 stopping PC releases coming out sooner. Crysis 2 demo comes to mind!

Sort yourselves out and stop bitching, it's pathetic and you contribute to the stereotype of PC gamers as over-sensitive babies with a massive sense of entitlement. If you want Runic to keep making good games then pray they have success on the 360 - they're clearly a company dedicated to PC games but everyone needs money.

I don't see how issues with the 360 version cause a delay in the PC version. Is it just a case of not enough time to do both, and so focusing on the 360 release, or is there something I am missing?

Sounds like they just needed the development manpower to work on the 360 version, which might be new territory for them. It might also be that while working on the 360 version they notice they were finding ways to improve the new game, so rather than finishing the new game and then having to shoehorn in or forget any other improvements they find they're doing the sensible thing and finishing the old game first before the new game. There's also the issue of some other major releases clogging up the spring months *cough*Deus Ex*cough*.

As an aside, is TL2 going to be multiplatform or are they just releasing it for PC?

Believe it or not, Runic has a finite number of employees who, sadly, can only work so fast.

As Bede says, they likely need money to keep those employees coming to work each morning. Getting out a likely profitable 360 port of the first Torchlight will likely provide a good flow of cash to cover the time until TL2 is done.

Besides, it's been delayed a month. That's nothing.
