It is a comfort to learn that stem cell reasearchers in Taiwan have managed to "create" a glow-in-the-dark pig. They said "others have done it before us but we have done it better. The pig has green internal organs, eyes, trotters and the skin has a tinge of green. When blue light is put on the pig is shines very brightly" They do this by injecting dna from jellyfish into pig embryos. Ok, this is kind of funny and a little bit clever, but why??? Maybe I should get one to take clubbing with me and impress the girlies???
when i was out in india during december..i saw a advert for hair gel which was UV-reactive....and i thought WOW...then it hit me that i'd prob look like a **** trying to pull a girl with UV hair in a club or bar.
they should makesomething for people too... easy to spot your child in a bar or dance event if they are home late... wouldnt be very handy for a surprise party though
now we need them to work on chicken ovulations, so that we may have green eggs with our green ham. is dr. seuss working on this project?
They've already made UV chicks and UV mice. They've already changed the colour of your eggs, since most eggs you eat have been injected with colour enhancing chemicals to make the yoke look yellower and more edible.
How about injecting some elephant dna into a pig.. so we get massive pigs. Would feed alot more mouths. Funny stuff though. UV reactive pigs and all. L
but lovah, a pig's and an elephant's dna just don't mix! reverse it and get little pot-bellied elephants....
