[03:20:51] + Working... It's a water cooled GTX 295 processing. As you can see, it gets all the way through the work, but then can't upload it. Curiously the other half of the card is working fine. I've even dialled back the overclocks from 666 to 648 on the core to see if it was a stability issue... No difference. The start up shortcut reads: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Folding@home\Folding@home-gpu\fah6.exe" -gpu 1 -forcegpu nvidia_g80 Any clues, or is this server side? It's been happening for a week now - well I've noticed it since the chimp challenge.
Not an answer, but I am getting similar problems: I get failed units that deliver ppd, and completed units that don't. (They upload successfully, and give me the estimated points), I'm sure we are both looking for answers on this one. Though, I assume it's server side issue.
Weirdest thing is that it's only happening for the second core of my GTX 295. The first one is working fine..... Anyone? Any ideas?
I un-installed everything, then re-installed it all, then spotted that the shortcut I'd got for the second core on my GTX 295 didn't have the operator -forcegpu nvidia_g80 set, so I've added it back in and everything seems to be working fine now for a couple of days. Back up to 15k per day @684core/1156mem....
It sees to be working better than ever the past couple of days. I used to have it set @ 666/1156 but I'd inadvertently set the clocks to 684/1156 (ie +18mhz faster) and it's been fine now for two days. Is it possible that the reason that my card overclocks better (albeit a pittance more) could be because my CPU is now on stock??? I doubt that it's a power issue as the PSU is a 750W Be Quiet DarkPower which should be well plenty big enough!! I must update my backup of the icons from my desktop when I get home so that I don't use shortcuts that do not have the -forecegpu etc set...
