At what resolution is an RTX 2070 Super required?
It was running on dynamic resolution, mostly 1440p with temporal upscaling, at 30 FPS. That's mightily impressive, but a far cry from what the upcoming generation of consoles was supposed to be about: 4K60. I guess this is just impossible with this kind of visual fidelity.
Quote from Epic's VP of engineering, Nick Penwarden, via Eurogamer:
And we all know TFLOPS is the one metric to measure potential GPU performance.
Not likely to be meaningfully impactful, in games much before that latter end of the decade anyway...
ymmv, terms and conditions apply etc.
* with dynamic resolution, might actually render as low as 540p
** with dynamic frame rate, might actually be 15 FPS
