Windows Use DV cam in MSN

    I need something to use my DV cam (connected with firewire) as a standard webcam. I need it to be compitable with msn! (connect it as webcam. msn tells me no webcam connected.) I know they are out there but help me here.

    Try this in a MSN contacts /message box.
    Tools>Web Camera Settings
    and see if ur camera is shown, if it isnt, it dont work as a webcam, if it does you will be able to use it as a webcam.
    Failing tha make sure you have the corect drivers or the right setting on the webcam.

    For my camera at least, I have to connect it through USB to use it as a webcam, but Firewire to transfer video to/from a DV tape.
