News Valve tweaks Steam review system to block 'helpful bombing'

Steam reviews are mostly useless, so why not make a template so people are forced to answer what they think of the different aspect so of the game, Graphics, Controls, Gameplay etc.? Don't fill in a section = review doesn't get shown. It isn't perfect but anything is better than the worthless crap we have now.

 

Ha yeah, steam reviews remind me of amazon reviews, idiots giving products 1 star because of delivery issues or because they ordered the wrong item!
Or even worse idiots giving stuff 5 stars for products they have not even used because they are happy with the price or delivery being fast!
User reviews are a cesspit. Although personally I'm OK with people review bombing negative reviews when companies roll out new greedy as feck changes by adding micro transactions / loot boxes/bad DLC etc.
