    "A floppy disk holds 1.44MB, a zip disk hold 100-250MB, and a CDR holds 800MB. What happens if you need to move 90 GIGs of data? Transferring across a network would take a while, and taking apart 2 computers just to get at the HDD is annoying but what do you do?

    The most logical approach would be Removable HDD racks. The generic type of these are heat traps, if you put a 7200 RPM ATA133 HDD in one, chances are it's going to fry. What you need is something with enough airflow to keep the drive cool, monitor the temps if need be, and the ability to take the drive wherever you want easily."
