    Guys,

Recently my computer has started giving this weird problem of not buffering and downloading anything from any site after certain amount of time. For example a video on youtube will not start to buffer until its completely buffered in the memory and then suddenly the progress bar will fill up and video will start playing. Same is with the downloads. The download dialog box will not appear until the browser have downloaded the whole file into its memory and when the dialog box appears on clicking ‘save’ the file just gets downloaded instantly no matter how big the file is (I am assuming it is copying itself from some temporary location).

Once the problem starts all the browsers are affected by it. This problem is really annoying and will only go away on restarting the computer. It will be really nice if someone could help me out from this misery.

    Thanks
    JB

PS - The OS is Windows 7, 64 Bit, if it helps

I have the same issue, particularly on Youtube, presumed it was my ISP or connection. Sometimes restarting the router works. For the record it does the same on my phone...on youtube.

Could be flash. They seemed to have borked it the past few months when updates where released.

I would uninstall it completely and reinstall it again. Also do the same for java. And try a different browser (I've been akin to Chrome for the past few weeks).

Its probably flash, try searching for "Global Security Settings panel" in Google and go through the settings.

I had a similar problem and changed a few settings at the same time and it was fixed, so I'm not sure exactly what will make it work sorry >.>

I was thinking it could be flash but it's behaving the same on my phone as my pc.
