Having a issue with my headset with ts3.

I am running the latest drivers with my Asus Xonar D2X pci, the headset im using is a sennheiser PC161.

Usually what i have experienced is that i join ts3 and cannot talk and can hear fine. I try voice test but nothing is being picked up.
Then the next day i will come on ts3 and my mike will pick my voice up fine.

I have tried the headset on a laptop and works fine, so im wondering if its a issue with my software.

A friend has said to reboot and update the drivers which has fixed the problem for him.
