Gaming Vote for your Game of the Year 2010

ME2, Heavy Rain and Neptunes Pride were the stand out games to me, some other great games on that list though.

Doesn't it just; couldn't sleep for 2 weeks!

 

Voted StarCraft II, Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and Dead Rising 2. They're the Very Best in their Very Own Categories in Real Time Strategy, 1st Person Shooter and 3rd Person Shooter. Those Games are all a Must See, Don't Miss Games of the Year!

GT5 is missing on that list aswell as the most awesome game ever, which would be EvE Online.

Says a lot that i have only played 2 games on that list this year (F1 and BC2)

 

Clearly Red Dead Redemption and Mass Effect 2, but I'm having trouble picking out a third game that I think is worthy of game of the year.

 

Heavy rain for me, RED Dead second. Dont get the mass effect hype at all, cliche and shallow IMO.

Haven't played many games on the list, so voted for:
ME2
God of War 3
and Just Cause 2 (haven't played it yet, however it's the only other game on the list that I really want to play).

Chime I have played and while it is a really good (and addictive) game, I just can't vote for it as a GOTY.

 

ME2 and RDR were the easy choices for me. The third choice was more difficult, because I haven't played very many of those games. I know I'd enjoy Civ V and Star Craft, but I don't have a PC to play them on any more. So I gave third place to COD: Black Ops, because having a story that isn't complete gibberish is a major achievement for a COD game, worthy of some kind of accolade.

 

Mass Effect 2, Starcraft 2 and Just Cause 2.

Sequels ruled this year.

 

For me the only worthwhile game of the year has been BC2. Would also like to try CiV5, but being a CIV there's not a chance of getting it on the cheap for years.. I only bought hte CiV4 last year in Steam sale

 

The only game I played on that list was BBC2. Game was not inspiring. Worst tank "battle" I ever saw. Think they could have picked something up from Crysis there... Hows about a vote on who gave you at least 50 hours of SP game play for the great expense that you pay for today's games ?

 

Starcraft 2 of course, too much nostalgia and action in one package.

 

No offence, but I'm not signing up for spam just for the right to vote. Why force us to get the newsletter? What's wrong with our forum logins?

I would like to vote, but not enough to sign up to a newsletter I don't want. I already have a login here and I visit here regularly. So why should I have to sign up again just to vote?
