So, I have a couple of old SparcStation Voyagers that are taking up room. I've been trying to think what to do with them for a while.

I had thought about bunging Linux or NetBSD on them, but they lack the propriety memory expansion modules and I cannot now remember if either work anymore.

They however look rather cool to me (I grew up surrounded by Sparc systems as my father worked for Sun) so it got me thinking. Could a Mini-ITX board fit in there... the screen isn't probably worth trying to use (IIRC they're mono screens), so what to use for the screen is the possible tricky thing. The other thought was a rPi 4 + LCD screen in the housing, though not nearly as powerful as a Mini-ITX option, a hell of a lot cheaper probably (having two of them I could in theory do both options, but budgetary constraints will make that difficult).

What does a Voyager look like?

This would be my first proper attempt at a mod tbh however, so is it doable or too difficult for a beginner?
