This is the first time that I've posted in this forum, so here it goes. Due to the lack of space in the case I'm currently modding, I decided to move the PSU out of the case proper. Which led to thinking about eventually building an enclosure large enough to house a PSU under the case. This line of thinking eventually led to considering watercooling, as a PSU alone doesn't occupy that much volume. Anyways, I'll put an end to my prattle.

The loop will be cooling a couple of setups that will eventually find their ways into the case

    A Skt.939 X2 3800+, DFI Ultra-D, 7600 or 7900
    A Core2Duo (anything from a 4300, 4400, 6420 to a Q6400), Gigabyte DS3, 8800GTS (the 320MB version)

I priced out a WC loop over at NCIX (Following prices in CAD)
D-Tek Customs Fuzion CPU block (71.65$)
Danger Den Black Fillport with Wrench (9.75$)
    Swiftech MCW60 GPU block (65.52$)
Swiftech MCP655 pump or Danger Den D-5 pump (90.30$ and 83.30$ respectively)
    Swiftech MCR-320 rad (62.98$)
undecided on a res, and I'm thinking of fabing my own that fits with the theme of the mod
    Tygon 5' .5" tubing (22.74$)
    3 Silverstone FM121 white 120mm fans (58.50$)
    Thermalright LGA775 RM backplate (6.04$)

    Total: 387.48$

Thoughts about that setup? Another question - are there any how-tos that deal with painting rads and blocks?

Thanks, any comments or suggestions are welcome

If I get enough money scrapped together to be able to buy the parts before I can get around to building a res, I'll use a T-Line with the fillport and then if my res building attempts are succesful I'll use the res instead.

It takes a while for people to post, it doesn't happen in a matter of hours ;)
